At the Salem YMCA, Kevin has been employed as both a group swimming instructor and lifeguard, working primarily with children ages 4–10. In this role, he guides young swimmers through the fundamentals of water safety and swimming technique, creating an encouraging and structured environment that builds both skills and confidence.

This position has strengthened his ability to communicate with patience and clarity, while fostering a supportive atmosphere where students thrive. He takes pride in seeing the joy of parents as they watch their children progress, and he values the positive energy and enthusiasm that his students bring to the pool each day.

Event Staffing & Demo Coordinator | Bon Mua Oregon

2021 – Present

In addition to my work at the YMCA, Kevin support Bon Mua Oregon by recruiting, training, and event managing part-time, student - staff for product demonstrations and merchandising services. Kevin has successfully led teams of up to seven employees at company events across Oregon and Washington, ensuring that each event runs smoothly and delivers a strong brand presence.

This role has allowed him to demonstrate leadership in team management, event execution, and customer engagement—balancing operational needs with creating meaningful connections between products and consumers.
