Kevin is currently an International Baccalaureate (IB) student at his high school, where he is pursuing the rigorous and globally recognized IB Diploma Program. The IB curriculum challenges students academically while fostering critical thinking, research skills, and a deep appreciation for global perspectives. It emphasizes a balance of intellectual, personal, emotional, and social development, preparing students to excel in higher education and beyond.
Within the program, Kevin’s primary focus is IB Business and Management, through which he explores real-world business concepts such as marketing, finance, operations, and organizational behavior. His studies have strengthened his analytical, leadership, and decision-making abilities, providing him with a strong understanding of how businesses operate and thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
I am an active student member of the DECA program, an organization that empowers emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and business management. Through DECA, I have had the opportunity to strengthen my leadership abilities, refine my teamwork skills, and gain hands-on experience in real-world business scenarios. I actively participate in debates and competitions focused on business strategies, operations, and management challenge experience that have sharpened my ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and collaborate under pressure.
Being part of DECA has fueled my passion for business leadership and inspired me to pursue innovative solutions that drive organizational success and growth.
Through DECA, I earned first place in a regional Sports Marketing debate, which led me to the DECA International Conference in Orlando, Florida. There, I connected with high-achieving students and future leaders, expanding my professional network and deepening my interest in business and leadership.
